Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tbilisi

Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Tbilisi.

Check in and take some time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a first evening stroll near the hotel, a romantic dinner in a local restaurant, or rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2

Kakheti Wine Tour: Badiauri – Bodbe – Local Winery – Sighnaghi

After breakfast at the hotel, depart towards Kakheti, Georgia’s most famous wine-producing region. The drive itself is picturesque, with views of rolling hills, vineyards, and small villages.

Badiauri – Bread & Cheese Tasting
 Your first stop is the village of Badiauri, known for its traditional bakeries. Here you will:

  • Watch how Georgian bread is baked in a traditional clay oven (tone).
  • Taste freshly baked bread, warm and fragrant, straight from the oven.
  • Enjoy a selection of local cheeses, discovering the rich flavors and textures that pair perfectly with Georgian wines.

Bodbe Monastery
Continue to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most peaceful and spiritual places in Kakheti. During your visit, you will:

  • Walk through the serene monastery complex and beautifully kept gardens.
  • Learn about the monastery’s religious and historical importance for Georgia.
  • Enjoy panoramic views over the Alazani Valley, a perfect backdrop for romantic photos.

Wine Tasting at a Local Winery
 Kakheti is the heart of Georgian winemaking, famous for both European-style and traditional qvevri wines. At a carefully selected local winery, you will:

Day 3

Leisure Day in Sighnaghi – City of Love

This day is dedicated entirely to relaxation and quality time together in Sighnaghi.

After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free at leisure. You can:

  • Explore the town at your own pace, discovering hidden viewpoints and quiet corners.
  • Walk along sections of the Sighnaghi city walls, enjoying panoramic views over the valley.
  • Sit in a cozy café or wine bar, tasting local dishes and wines.
  • Take photos in the charming streets, on balconies overlooking the valley, and in small squares decorated with flowers.

Sighnaghi’s calm and intimate atmosphere makes it an ideal place for honeymooners to relax, talk, and enjoy being together.

Day 4

Back to Tbilisi & Tbilisi City Tour

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Sighnaghi and drive back to Tbilisi. Upon arrival, start a guided Tbilisi City Tour to discover the capital’s unique mix of history, culture, and modern life.

Narikala Fortress
Take the cable car (or drive) up to Narikala Fortress, an ancient citadel overlooking Tbilisi. From the top, you can:

  • Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Old Town, the Mtkvari River, and the surrounding hills.
  • Walk along the fortress walls and feel the historic atmosphere of one of the city’s oldest landmarks.

Old Town (Abanotubani & Surroundings)
 Descend into the Old Town, a charming area of narrow streets and traditional houses with balconies. During the walking tour, you will:

  • Stroll through the historic quarters filled with cafés, handicraft shops, and small churches.
  • Visit the Sulphur Baths district (Abanotubani), famous for its domed bathhouses and natural hot springs. This is the place where, according to legend, Tbilisi was founded. You may book a private bath later in the evening for a romantic and relaxing experience.

 

At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. The evening is free – you can enjoy dinner in a rooftop restaurant, take a nighttime walk through the illuminated Old Town, or relax at the hotel.

Day 5

Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress & Gudauri

After breakfast at the hotel, depart along the scenic Georgian Military Highway towards the mountains. Today’s tour combines natural beauty, history, and adventure.

Zhinvali Reservoir
 Your first stop is the beautiful Zhinvali Reservoir:

  • Admire the turquoise water surrounded by green hills and mountain slopes.
  • Take photos at the viewpoints overlooking the dam and the lake.

Ananuri Fortress
Continue to Ananuri, a historic fortress complex located on the shores of the reservoir. During your visit, you will:

  • Explore the ancient walls, towers, and churches of the complex.
  • Learn about its strategic importance and the stories connected to the Aragvi region.
  • Enjoy fantastic views over Zhinvali Reservoir from the fortress.

Scenic Mountain Views & Gudauri
 The road then climbs higher into the mountains, offering breathtaking landscapes at every turn. Short stops may be made at scenic viewpoints to enjoy:

  • Wide, open views of the Caucasus mountain range.
  • Deep valleys and dramatic cliffs, perfect for photos together.

Arrive in Gudauri, a renowned mountain resort:

  • In winter, Gudauri is famous for its ski slopes and snowboarding opportunities.
  • In other seasons, you can enjoy cool mountain air, green meadows, and expansive views.
  • Spend some time at the resort area, walk around, and take in the alpine scenery.

In the late afternoon, drive back to Tbilisi.

Day 6

Departure from Georgia

After breakfast, free time depending on your flight schedule – you may choose to do some last-minute shopping, take a short walk, or simply relax at the hotel.

At the agreed time, check out from the hotel and transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
