Day 1

Arrival

  1. Arrival to Sri Lanka & welcome by our Serene World Representative & transfer to Sigiriya.
  2. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - Providing a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, it is a much-loved destination for tourists and locals alike. 
  3. Check-in Hotel and Relax.
  4. Overnight stay at sigiriya.


Day 2

SIGIRIYA TOUR

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After Breakfast, visit the Sigiriya. Sigiriya is the 5th Century ‘Fortress in the Sky,” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. On one of the stairways, the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of frescoes of life-sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original color.
  3. Located in the backwoods of the North Central Province is home to the famous Minneriya National Park that shelters some of the greatest wildlife treasures of this paradise isle. The park, nourished by an ancient man-made tank, provides shelter for troupes of toque monkeys and sambar deer as well as leopards, elephants, and bird flocks, including little cormorants and painted storks, to name a few. It is also renowned for the ‘Sixth Greatest Wildlife Spectacle of the World’ – the amazing phenomenon of the ‘Minneriya Elephant gathering.’ The best time to visit the park is during June – September, as the low water levels of the tank expose grass in the tank bed, which attracts herds of grazing animals.

Day 3

SIGIRIYA –KANDY

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After breakfast, transfer to Kandy.
  3. En route, visit the Dambulla cave temple & Spice Garden. Dambulla is famous for the five cave Temples on a rock. The first 03 caves are better, older, and larger than the others. Some caves dates to 1st C.B.C. All 5 cave walls and ceilings are covered with Buddhist murals, and there are more than 130 Buddha statues; statues of Gods and Kings are also found here.
  4. Spice garden where you can touch and feel various organic herbs and spices
  5. Evening enjoy Kandy city tour. The hill capital of Sri Lanka; Kandy, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Not only is it a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, it is also home to significant historic and religious attractions such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
  6. Explore Kandy Lake The Kandy Lake is a Great place to People to watch in the shade of the ancient trees. Go for a walk with your travel buddy One of the unique aspects of Kandy as its laidback streets. Full of colorful kaleidoscope of colonial building house.
  7. Explore the sacred temple of the Tooth relic, a historic location on both cultural and religious significance. The Temple of the Tooth Relic is the jewel in the heart of the old city, captivating and majestic. It is a greatly venerated site as the place that holds the Tooth Relic of the Buddha and thus attracts pilgrims from all over the world and the island.

Day 4

KANDY –NUWARAELIYA 

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After the breakfast checkout from the hotel & transfer to Nuwaraeliya.
  3. En route visit tea factory. Tea is one of the main sources of foreign exchange for Sri Lanka and recognized as Ceylon Tea is renowned for its high – quality aroma and taste.
  4. Evening enjoy Nuwaraeliya city tour.Visit the spectacular Sitha AmmanKovil temple. According to legend, Seetha Amman temple is said to be the place that Ravana, King of Lanka kept Sita during his time.
  5. Have a Taste of Unique Nuwara. Try some of the freshest strawberries right from the very hub of the delicious and tangy fruit and explore he city for easts line the famous potato spiral.
  6. Smell the bloom at Hakgala Gardens.At 5400 ft above sea level the hakgala botanical garden has a history dating back to 1862. Take a walk amidst the blooms and become captivated.
  7. Explore the city’s Colonial History. Nuwara Eliya is full of colonial building such as the famous Post Office which is housed in an 1894 Tudo Manor.

Day 5

NUWARA ELIYA – BENTOTA

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After Breakfast check out and proceed to Bentota via Kithulgala. If you feel adventurous, the incredible experience of White-Water Rafting awaits you at Kitulgala.
  3. The 5km on the picturesque Kelani River run covers 5 major rapids and 4 minor ones. You will be in good hands with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing given by our white-water rafting instructors beforehand. Those who prefer to keep their feet dry can take it easy, relax, and admire the beautiful views.
  4. Dinner at Restaurant and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 6

BENTOTA CITY TOUR

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After Breakfast enjoy Bentota City tour,

Explore Madu river Boat Ride - The bio-diversity of the Madu River is of monumental signification when considering the wide ranges of aquatic and avian life as well as wetland dwelling amphibians, reptiles, mammals that inhabit the environs of this natural treasure. A total of 11 species of agnatic mollusks and 14 land dwelling mollusks are found in this system. 70 species of fish, 31 types of reptiles, and 50 kinds of butterflies are just some of colorful array of wildlife that inhabits this abundantly bustling eco-system. Bird watchers will be pleased to know that 111 species of bird have been identified in the mangrove formed environs of the river, and has been known to host several types of migratory birds.
  4. Then Visit Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda - a successful conservation effort established to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction.
  5. Galle Fort - The Galle Fort is the best preserved among the colonial forts in Sri Lanka. People live within the fort today and the area has a heavy population of artistic types.

Day 7

BENTOTA-COLOMBO

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After breakfast check out and proceed to Colombo.
  3. Colombo - A drive through the city will take you to the Fort and Pettah- the city's commercial area and tree-lined Colombo - 07 Cinnamon Gardens. Colombo 3, 4, 5, 8 are the prime residential area of the city. Visit Fort, and Pettah for Shopping.
  4. Then visit Hindu Temple at Sea Street, lined with goldsmith’s shops, the Dutch Church at Wolfendaal, dating back to 1749. The historic Davatagaha Mosque, Independence Hall, B.M.I.C.H, the Zoological Gardens and Museum are some of the attractions in Colombo.
  5. Dinner and Transfer to hotel.

DEPARTURE
