Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL IN KANDY

  1. Arrival to Sri Lanka, our serene world guide will meet you at the airport, and drive you to Kandy.
  2. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, it is a much-loved destination for tourists and locals alike. Here, adults and baby elephants from around Sri Lanka thrive, and a captive breeding program is also proving to be highly successful. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best.
  3. Evening enjoy Kandy City tour. The hill capital of Sri Lanka; Kandy, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Not only is it a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, it is also home to significant historic and religious attractions such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
  4. Kandy Lake it is a great place for People to watch in the shade of the ancient trees. Go for a walk with your travel buddy. One of the unique aspects of Kandy is its laidback streets. Full of the colorful kaleidoscope of colonial buildings houses.
  5. Explore the sacred temple of the Tooth relic, a historic location on both cultural and religious significance. The Temple of the Tooth Relic is the jewel in the heart of the old city, captivating and majestic. It is a greatly venerated site as the place that holds the Tooth Relic of the Buddha and thus attracts pilgrims from all over the world and the island.

Day 2

KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After the breakfast checkout from the hotel & transfer to Nuwaraeliya en route visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple and tea factory. Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple: In the hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sita, the Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka built the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple which is visited by thousands of devotees every year.
  3. Evening enjoy the Nuwaraeliya city tour. The old colonial outpost still referred to as ‘Little England’ Nuwara Eliya certainly lives up to its name. Perched 6200 feet above sea level, the climate too, adds to the illusion of one stepping into an old English town, where neat hedges, quaint cottages, and beautiful old buildings stand as serene as they did well over a century ago – the magnificent Grand Hotel presiding over them all. There is, of course, an old golf course as well as horse racing events to complete the picture.
  4. Sita Amman Temple - The prominent temple architecture will not fail to attract your attention. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on one side of the temple. The temple today is a modern building with its paintings, statues, and pillars decorated with sculptures; all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita.
  5. Gregory Lake Nuwaraeliya - Lake Gregory, sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in the heart of the tea country hill city, of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.

Day 3

NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA - YALA

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After Breakfast check out and proceed to yala via Ella.
  3. Walk along the rails on the Nine Arch Bridge in Ella. The Nine Arches Bridge is 300m long, rises to a height of 80ft in height, and was commissioned by the British in 1921 as part of their comprehensive network of railway lines that would enable them to carry tea from the plantations down to the port cities. With a small 30-minute walk through the woods, you will reach a piece of beautiful architecture hidden between lush green tea fields.
  4. Get a fresh shower at the Ravanafall. Ravana Falls has become a very popular site with both locals and foreigners stopping by to enjoy this piece of nature and a cooldown in the water.
  5. Evening proceeds to Yala & check-inn & relax in hotel.
  6. Overnight at yala.


Day 4

YALA – BENTOTA

  1. In early morning visit Yala national park. Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. Yala is situated in Sri Lanka’s southeast hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents is the world’s biggest concentration of leopards.
  2. Return back to the hotel and have breakfast.
  3. After Breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Bentota.
  4. Enroute visit Galle Fort - The Galle Fort is the best preserved among the colonial forts in Sri Lanka. People live within the fort today and the area has a heavy population of artistic types.
  5. Evening enjoy Bentota.
  6. Turtle Hatchery You will get to see up to five endangered species of turtles hatching and crisscrossing each other. Especially for the nature lovers, this spot is considered the most enchanting place to visit in Bentota.
  7. Madu River Boat Safari. This safari is a paradise coupled with rich wildlife experiences. There are over a hundred and eleven bird species to watch and click pictures. It is also a popular spot for ecologists as well as biologists. An amazing boat rides along the river and you can explore numerous things while spending time with the local guides
  8. Bentota Water Sports. You can enjoy a variety of Water sports activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, banana rides, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, and tube rides.
  9. After sightseeing return back to the hotel
  10. Overnight at Bentota.


Day 5

COLOMBO CITY TOUR

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After breakfast check out and proceed to Colombo.
  3. Evening enjoy Colombo city tour.
  4. Colombo - A drive through the city will take you to the Fort and Pettah- the commercial area of the city and tree-lined Colombo. Visit Fort, and Pettah for Shopping. The Hindu Temple at Sea Street, lined with goldsmith’s shops, and the Dutch Church at Wolfendale, dating back to 1749. The historic Davatagaha Mosque, Independence Hall, B.M.I.C.H, the Zoological Gardens and Museum are some of the attractions in Colombo.
  5. Overnight stay at colombo.


Day 6

DEPARTURE

  1. Breakfast at hotel.

  3. Transfer to the Colombo Airport.
