Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival 

  1. Arrival in Zagreb. Our Airport Executive will be waiting outside the Airport with Placard. 
  2. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation in the city center.
  3. Free time time to explore. Discover the last European street lamplighters who manually light street lanterns in old Zagreb and take pictures in front of one of the world's most beautiful cathedrals with two unique bell towers, 105 meters high.
  4. After a city tour, a welcome dinner follows in the old part of Zagreb, in a famous restaurant in the old town that is known for preparing traditional dishes with local ingredients.
  5. After dinner transfer to hotel.
     


Day 2

Zagreb-Krapina-Zagreb

  1. Breakfast at the hotel.
  2. Departure for Kumrovec. Upon arrival in Kumrovec, you will visit Tito's birthplace, which is part of the Staro selo museum. In the Staro selo museum, you will be able to see what the indigenous villages of this region looked like at the beginning of the 20th century.
  3. After visiting the Staro selo museum, continue your journey to Krapina, which houses the Krapina Prehistoric Man Museum. Krapina is home to the largest Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis site, with over 900 human fossil bones, and the age of the site is estimated at 125,000 years.
  4. After visiting this unique world museum, there is a short drive to a traditional restaurant where you will try local specialties and taste local wines.
  5. After lunch, free time for tastings and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
  6. Return to accommodation.
  7. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
     


Day 3

Zagreb-Varaždin-Zagreb

  1. Breakfast at the hotel.
  2. Continuation of the journey to the old baroque city of Varaždin.
  3. Walking through the streets of Varaždin, you will discover many palaces, villas, the oldest city hall in Europe, built in the Baroque and Rococo style. The city has 11 churches, 3 monasteries, a cathedral, an old town and numerous crafts with traditional occupations.
  4. You can also visit the city cemetery, which has been recognized as the most beautifully decorated cemetery in the world for several years.
  5. After a tour of Varaždin, there is a short drive to a restaurant for lunch where you will taste wines from their own production.
  6. After lunch, return to hotel.
  7. Free Time In evening to explore at own.
     


Day 4

Tranfer to Vukovar

  1. Breakfast at the hotel.
  2. Leisure time for a city tour and lunch in the city.
  3. In the afternoon, departure towards the east of Croatia to the city of Vukovar.
  4. Check-in at the hotel and dinner. After dinner, free time that you can use for a night walk along the Danube.
  5. Overnight at hotel.
     


Day 5

Vukovar City Tour

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After breakfast, free time to explore the city. Find out how Vukovar became the City of Heroes, where small groups of brave volunteers stopped the Yugoslav Army, the third world power at the time, which eventually turned the city into Stalingrad in the 1990s.
  3. After a walking tour of the city, you will board a boat and set off on a ride on the Danube from where you will have the most beautiful view of the city.
  4. After lunch, you will go on a carriage ride through the fields and vineyards, and while the horses are resting, you will taste wine from the vast vineyards.
  5. After dinner, return to the hotel and overnight.
     


Day 6

Vukovar-Osijek-Baranja-Vukovar

  1. Breakfast at the hotel.
  2. Travel to the city of Osijek. Upon arrival, a tour of the old part of the city surrounded by city walls with 4 entrances to the city. Most of the buildings are built in the Baroque style, and you will also visit one of the most beautiful cathedrals built of brick.
  3. After a tour of the city, a drive through the vast plain to the Karanac Ethno Village for lunch. Karanac exudes the atmosphere of some ancient, bygone times in which each house had its own story that was slowly passed down from generation to generation, maintaining its originality and lifestyle far from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
  4. Lunch in the ethno village, a tour of the ethno collection and then departure to the hotel in Vukovar.
  5. Free time until dinner.
  6. Overnight stay at hotel. 
     


Day 7

Vukovar-Zagreb

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and drive to Zagreb.
  3. Upon arrival in Zagreb, check in to the hotel and have lunch in the city.
  4. After lunch, free time to explore the city on your own. Visit the Museum of Illusions, a place where the impossible becomes possible, or one of the most unusual museums – the Museum of Broken Relationships, where people leave objects that remind them of broken love relationships, and each object represents a story related to it.
  5. Transfer to hotel and Overnight stay.


Day 8

Departure 

  1. Breakfast at hotel.
  2. Check-out from hotel.
  3. Transfer to airport.
