Itinerary

Day 1

 WELCOME TO BAKU  

  1.  Arrival at Airport. 
  2.  Transfer from Airport to Hotel.  
  3.  Overnight stay in hotel. 

 

Day 2

Baku Old City Tour

  1. 08:00 am Buffet Breakfast at Hotel 
  2. 10:00 am : The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls were well protected. The Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO(walking tour)
  3. We continue tour to Nizami Streetknown as flee market for shopping (Est in 1864). It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on SabitOrujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai at “Black City”. 
  4. 03:00 pm we will continues the tour with the visit to the charming example of modern architecture -  The Heydar Aliyev Center– a 57,500 m2 building complex designed by Iraqi-British  architect ZahaHadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic. (Photo Shoot Outside)

Day 3

Absheron – Fire Mountain And Fire Temple  

  1. Buffet Breakfast at Hotel .
  2. 10:00 am Excursion to Ateshgah(Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship.  “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.
  3. Fire Mountain-“Yanardag” –a mountain on Absheronpeninsula , 25 km from north of Baku. Word “Yanardag” means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. 
  4. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, which itself is known as the “land of fire.”
  5. Walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond.

Day 4

 GOBUSTAN TOUR + MUD VOLCANO 

  1. Breakfast in Hotel.
  2. Proceed to Gobustan tour  
  3. Gobustan  is best known for being the home to the famous rockpetroglyphs .The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC. It is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100square km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals. Its oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the ‘Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape’ in the World Heritage list. 
  4. Visit to Mud Volcanoes

  6. Stay in Baku.

Day 5

 DEPARTURE 

  1. Breakfast in Hotel  
  2. Transfer to Airport
  3. Departure to Delhi with return flight
