Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and Tour in Sarajevo

  1. Your arrival in Sarajevo, where you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
  2. After checking in, we will start with a Sarajevo Walking Tour. Strolling through the charming streets of Sarajevo, you’ll fall in love with this lovely city. The walk is a journey through its past, from the Ottoman quarters filled with sweet shops, cafes, and handicrafts, to the administrative and cultural center of the Austro-Hungarian period.
  3. After the tour, enjoy some free time.
  4. Overnight in Sarajevo.
     


Day 2

Herzegovina Tour

  1. Breakfast at the hotel.
  2. After breakfast, we will depart for the Herzegovina region. The first stop will be in Konjic, a charming town on the banks of the Neretva River. We will discuss the town’s symbol – the Old Stone Bridge, built during Ottoman rule in Bosnia. Take a moment to enjoy a coffee with a stunning view.
  3. Next, we head to Kravice, a breathtaking waterfall on the Trebižat River, often referred to as the “small Niagara Falls” of the Balkans. It’s a protected natural treasure, perfect for swimming in summer.
  4. From there, we will travel to Blagaj, known for its peaceful ambiance and natural beauty. Here, we will visit the Blagaj Tekke (Dervish Monastery), built during the early Ottoman period, situated by the spring of the river Buna.
  5. Finally, we arrive in Mostar, a city of historical and cultural significance. Admire the UNESCO-protected Old Bridge, one of Bosnia’s most iconic landmarks, before returning to Sarajevo.
  6. Overnight Stay.
     


Day 3

Sarajevo Tour and Departure

  1. On the final day, after breakfast, we will embark on the Sarajevo War Tour. Eight years after Sarajevo hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics, the city was under siege during the Bosnian War.
  2. We will visit the Yellow Fortress for a panoramic view of the city, walk through Sniper Alley, and see the famous Tunnel of Hope, the only escape route for Sarajevo’s citizens during the siege.
  3. We will also visit Trebević Mountain, the former frontlines, and the bobsleigh track.
  4. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
